I was born in Florence, where I live and have for many years dedicated myself to working with chocolate. I started my interest in it when my children were small: one of my hopes was to make them a chocolate egg with their name on it in sugar and a surprise present inside, chosen by me.
So I needed to learn the art of working with chocolate: I followed courses in chocolate at the Cordon Bleu and then at 'Eurochocolate' in Perugia with the master chocolatiers de Bondt from Pisa and Gerard Ronay from London who taught me how to make 'ciocccolorato' using fat soluble colours.
I have been able to pass on this experience to many of my friends and teach them how to make chocolate eggs, individual chocolates and chocolate leaves. It gives me so much satisfaction to hear people call me 'The chocolate Lady'.
